Jardin d’enfants WDB / HIBINOSEKKEI + Youji no Shiro + Kids Design Labo
Description textuelle fournie par les architectes. Il s’agit d’un projet de design d’intérieur pour une partie d’un immeuble résidentiel de 5 étages nouvellement construit (environ 2220 m2) avec un toit terrasse d’environ 570 m2.
Nous sommes en contact avec le client depuis plusieurs années et ce projet est la troisième commande que nous recevons de sa part. Dans ce projet, le bâtiment est conçu de manière à intégrer le paysage naturel de Kiyo dans l’école. Un tel geste offre aux enfants des occasions indispensables d’apprendre les caractéristiques ainsi que l’histoire du site.
Le paysage du Guizhou est unique grâce à la formation historique du relief karstique. Il est composé d’éléments naturels tels que des montagnes, des rivières, des cascades, des grottes calcaires et des lacs, tous façonnés par la formation karstique. Le site propose un contour intéressant avec plein de hauts et de bas. L’intérieur de la salle à manger, de la salle d’attente et de la crèche, où les enfants se rassemblent fréquemment, imite une si belle topographie de Kiyo. La terrasse comporte deux niveaux d’aires de jeux, entièrement créées par des filets. Des marches sont également intégrées non seulement pour refléter le paysage extérieur à l’intérieur, mais également pour permettre aux enfants de monter et descendre tout en observant l’environnement du ruisseau et la ville qui les entoure. Ce faisant, les enfants ressentent la topographie de leur propre ville, Guiyangdans leurs activités quotidiennes. Grâce à ces activités quotidiennes, les enfants améliorent progressivement leur santé physique et leur force. De plus, des persiennes sont installées aux endroits où les enfants peuvent toucher les stalagmites du relief karstique de Guiyang afin que les enfants apprécient davantage la topographie locale.
En créant un lieu où les enfants ressentent la topographie de Kiyo dans le cadre de leur vie quotidienne, ils développent alors un fort sentiment de connexion et d’attachement à la région. Ce faisant, les enfants cultivent leur volonté de protéger et de prendre soin de l’environnement local pendant de nombreuses années encore.
