Le site est situé à l’extrémité du parc forestier de la ligne Gyeongui, avec des contextes contrastés avec une route de 20 mètres de large à l’avant et un parc à l’arrière. En conséquence, la conception minimise le nombre d’ouvertures vers la route, donnant au bâtiment une masse solide et lourde. Côté parc, les ouvertures sont maximisées pour créer une interaction visuelle dense avec la forêt du parc.
En tant qu’équipement de quartier, les espaces intérieurs sont conçus comme de grands espaces ouverts pour accueillir une variété de sous-programmes. Chaque étage est équipé d’espaces extérieurs, offrant des possibilités d’interaction naturelle avec l’environnement environnant.
Les joints horizontaux de la façade en pierre sont coupés tous les 50 mm pour introduire des variations de texture. Les pierres de seuil et les linteaux sont chanfreinés pour former des ouvertures robustes et solides. L’orientation vers la route de 20 mètres de large permet une liberté dans la configuration de l’espace, car il n’y a pas de restrictions d’ensoleillement imposées par les propriétés voisines.
